104 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 21 of Kalimpong, 87 of Darjeeling district, 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 2 in Sukuna, 22 in Matigara, 16 in Naxalbari, 4 in Phansidewa and 6 in Khoribari, 45 in Alipurduar, 89 in Jalpaiguri, 99 in Coochbehar, 109 in Malda tested positive.

3 Death: 3 deaths reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district.
Tapas Das, 59 yr old of Lake Town Bhaktinagar died in Desun Covid ;
Anil Thakur, 58 yr old of Champasari Siliguri died in Dr. Chhang’s Covid Hospital;
Koleda Khatun, 35 yr old of Daspara Chopra died in RICU ward of NBMCH.
43 of SMC:
43 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (31 in Darjeeling and 12 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive.
87 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 87 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 31 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 6 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are - 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 2 in Sukuna, 22 in Matigara, 16 in Naxalbari, 4 in Phansidewa and 6 in Khoribari, tested positive.
State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district with 116 new cases has 9364 confirmed cases of which 8376 have recovered and 126 died while 862 are active cases.
23 of Kalimpong:
23 new cases from Kalimpong reported, State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district with 23 new cases has 1246 confirmed cases of which 1052 have recovered, 9 died and 185 are active cases.
109 of Malda:
109 new cases, 83 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda with 111 new cases has 8200 confirmed cases of which 7285 have recovered and 65 died and 850 are active cases.
45 of Alipurduar:
45 new cases, 71 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar with 63 new cases has 5674 confirmed cases of which 5035 have recovered and 68 died while 571 are active cases.
99 of Coochbehar:
99 new cases with 90 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar with 87 new cases has 7107 confirmed cases of which 6313 have recovered, 45 died and 749 are active cases.
89 of Jalpaiguri:
89 new cases 82 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri with 89 new cases has 7297 confirmed cases of which 72 died while 6521 have recovered and 704 are active cases.
104 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 104 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and other from Safe homes were discharged today.
During the last 24 hours 13 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 5 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 6 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward, 2 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 72 Covid-19 patients are admitted, while during the last 24 hours 7 patients are newly admitted and 10 are released.
