the plains they are- 1 in Sukuna, 3 in Khoribari, 7 in Matigara, 14 in Naxalbari, and 20 in
Phansidewa tested
positive. 81 in Alipurduar, 52 in Coochbehar, 89 in Jalpaiguri, 34 in

3 Death: 3 deaths reported during
the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district. Kartik Das,
50 yr old of Prasanna nagar Belakoba died in
Ranjit Das,
75 yr old of Baghajatin Colony Siliguri died in Desun Covid Hospital
Sabina Khatun,
70 yr old of died in Chickenmati Phansidewa RICU ward of NBMCH.
Yesterdays one
death recorded in Kalimpong was of Aitasing Tamang, 71 yr old of Lower Singbong
Pedong who died in in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital.
26 of SMC:
26 of
Siliguri Municipality Corporation (17 in Darjeeling and 9 in Jalpaiguri
districts) tested positive.
59 in
Darjeeling district:
Of the 59
tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 17 are from the Darjeeling
district of the SMC while 6 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 1
in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Mirik, 2 in Pulbazar. Of
the plains they are- 1 in Sukuna, 3 in Khoribari, 7 in Matigara, 14 in Naxalbari, and 20 in

department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling
district with 132 new cases has 11002 confirmed cases of which 9425 have
recovered and 138 died while 1439 are active cases.

release and 14 new cases from Kalimpong reported. Yesterdays one death recorded
in Kalimpong was of Aitasing Tamang, 71 yr old of Lower Singbong Pedong who died
in in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital.

district with 3 new cases has 1381 confirmed cases of which 1261 have
recovered, 13 died and 107 are active cases.
34 in Malda:
34
new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin
states that within the last 24 hours Malda with 119 new cases has 9279
confirmed cases of which 8145 have recovered and 77 died and 1057 are active cases
81 in Alipurduar:
1 death, 81 new cases, 57 release reported. State Health department’s daily
bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar with 22 new cases
has 6723 confirmed cases of which 5755 have recovered and 76 died while 442 are
active cases.
52 in Coochbehar:
52 new cases with 102 release reported. State Health
department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24
hours Coochbehar with 86 new cases has 8221 confirmed cases of which 7208
have recovered, 51 died and 962 are active cases.
89 in Jalpaiguri:
89 new cases, 78 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health
department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24
hours Jalpaiguri with 129 new cases has 8600 confirmed cases of which 85
died while 7269 have recovered and 1246 are active cases.
96 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 96 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun
Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
NBMCH
During the
last 24 hours 12 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards
of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 4 patients in
Surgical isolation ward, and 8 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward, no
patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in
Isolation ward -1 are admitted.
DR. CHHANG'S
SS Covid Hospital
At
present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 74 Covid-19 patients are
admitted of them 11 are in ICU, while during the last 24 hours patients are
newly admitted and 10 are released and 4 are referred.
At Dr.Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital- 2 of Singel TE, 1 each
of Lower Dumaram, Upper Dumaram, Holy Cross, Gandhigram Kurseong , New
Rajeswari Hall, Sudhapa Toll, Ambotia,
Upper Sirubari, Bhotay Busty Darjeeling, Ging and 1 of Sindebong
Kalimpong, Lower Sindebong, Sinji, Mangmaya, Dr. Grahm’s Homes and
Kalimpong, GTA area are admitted.
DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 59 Covid-19 patients are admitted and
13 patients are newly admitted and 10 released.
2 of MV Road Kurseong, 1 each Pankhabari , Rangli Rangliot, Burbong Busty
Kurseong, Mungpoo Bazar and D M Office Kalimpong, D.S Gurung Road Kalimpong of
GTA area are admitted.
NIVEDITA
Nursing Home
55 patients
are admitted of which 13 are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of
this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 7 patients are released. 25
patients are being treated in its Safe home.
Number of Covid patients in the six districts of North Bengal
Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs stated
that Darjeeling district with 158 new cases has 10870 confirmed cases of which
9301 have recovered and 138 died while 1431 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district with 3 new cases has 1381 confirmed cases of which
1246 have recovered, 13 died and 122 are active cases.
Alipurduar with 17 new cases has 6251 confirmed cases of which 5747 have recovered
and 75 died while 429 are active cases.
Coochbehar with 113 new cases has 8135 confirmed cases of which 7106 have
recovered, 51 died and 978 are active cases.
Jalpaiguri with 129 new cases has 8600 confirmed cases of which 85 died while
7269 have recovered and 1246 are active cases.
Malda with 119 new cases has 9279 confirmed cases of which 8145 have recovered
and 77 died and 1057 are active cases.
