KalimNews, Kalimpong, 30 April 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 48 hours is as follows:

12 Death:

Death of 7 in Darjeeling, 1 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur and 3 in Malda district is recorded during the last 48 hours.

400 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 400 new cases, 262 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Darjeeling district records 400 new cases, 23686 confirmed cases of which 20905 have recovered and 227 died while 2554 are active cases.

85 in Kalimpong:

85 new cases, 24 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Kalimpong district records 85 new cases, 2733 confirmed cases of which 2400 have recovered, 28 died and 305 are active cases.

108 in Alipurduar:

108 new cases, 37 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Alipurduar records 108 new cases, 8453 confirmed cases of which 7901 have recovered and 87 died while 465 are active cases.

178 in Coochbehar:
