Weather Warning for the Region During Next Five Days:

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 May 21: Regional Meteorological Centre, Alipore of the Indian Meteorological Department issued weather forecast and weather warning for the next five days as follows. 

Thursday 13 May(Day-1)

1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha, Sikkim and Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Alipurduar, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas & Nadia districts of West Bengal.

2) Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 Kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha and all the districts of Gangetic West Bengal.

3) Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 Kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Bihar, Jharkhand and all the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

4) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim.

Friday 14 May(Day-2)

1) Heavy rain (7-11cm) likely to occur at one or two places over Sikkim and

Coochbehar & Alipurduar districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

2) Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 Kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand and all the districts of West Bengal.

3) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over Odisha.

Saturday 15 May(Day-3)

1) Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 Kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Jharkhand and all the districts of SubHimalayan West Bengal.

2) Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places overall the districts of Gangetic West Bengal.
