KalimNews, Kalimpong, 9 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

25 Death:

Death of 7 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 7 in Jalpaiguri, 5 in Uttar Dinajpur, 5 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

1 in Coochbehar and 6 in Malda7 in Alipurduar,

514 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 514 new cases, 540 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 514 new cases, 28615 confirmed cases of which 24725 have recovered and 263 died while 3627 are active cases.

142 in Kalimpong:

142 new cases, 55 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 142 new cases, 3225 confirmed cases of which 2741 have recovered, 30 died and 454 are active cases.

79 in Alipurduar:

79 new cases, 78 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 79 new cases, 8984 confirmed cases of which 8365 have recovered and 91 died while 528 are active cases.

255 in Coochbehar: 

255 new cases, 194 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 23 hour Coochbehar records 255 new cases, 15576 confirmed cases of which 14126 have recovered, 75 died and 1375 are active cases.

369 in Jalpaiguri: 

369 new cases, 279 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 369 new cases, 20241 confirmed cases of which 227 died while 18037 have recovered and 1977 are active cases.

245 in Uttar Dinajpur:

245 new cases, 289 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 245 new cases, 12410 confirmed cases of which 117 died while 10383 have recovered and 1910 are active cases.

247 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

247 new cases, 204 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 247 new cases, 11593 confirmed cases of which 100 died while 10071 have recovered and 1422 are active cases.

404 in Malda:  

404 new cases, 510 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 404 new cases, 26302 confirmed cases of which 22767 have recovered and 175 died and 3360 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 255 new cases, 15576 confirmed cases of which 14126 have recovered, 75 died and 1375 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 369 new cases, 20241 confirmed cases of which 227 died while 18037 have recovered and 1977 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 245 new cases, 12410 confirmed cases of which 117 died while 10383 have recovered and 1910 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 247 new cases, 11593 confirmed cases of which 100 died while 10071 have recovered and 1422 are active cases.

Malda records 404 new cases, 26302 confirmed cases of which 22767 have recovered and 175 died and 3360 are active cases.
