KalimNews, Kalimpong, 17 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

13 Death:

Death of 2 in Darjeeling, 4 in Jalpaiguri, 6 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

728 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 728 new cases, 579 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 728 new cases, 33858 confirmed cases of which 29416 have recovered and 307 died while 4135 are active cases.

41 in Kalimpong:

41 new cases, 63 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 41 new cases, 3600 confirmed cases of which 3155 have recovered, 32 died and 413 are active cases.

50 in Alipurduar:

50 new cases, 117 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 50 new cases, 9796 confirmed cases of which 8961 have recovered and 91 died while 744 are active cases.

248 in Coochbehar: 

248 new cases, 249 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 248 new cases, 17698 confirmed cases of which 15902 have recovered, 75 died and 1721 are active cases.

305 in Jalpaiguri: 

305 new cases, 371 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 305 new cases, 23437 confirmed cases of which 277 died while 20671 have recovered and 2489 are active cases.

271 in Uttar Dinajpur:

271 new cases, 259 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 271 new cases, 14540 confirmed cases of which 147 died while 12603 have recovered and 1790 are active cases.

177 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

177 new cases, 169 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 177 new cases, 13055 confirmed cases of which 113 died while 11766 have recovered and 1176 are active cases.

264 in Malda:  

264 new cases, 334 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 264 new cases, 28939 confirmed cases of which 26535 have recovered and 175 died and 2229 are active cases.
