70 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 5 in Kalimpong, 9 in Darjeeling, 3 in Kurseong, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 5 in Mirik, 2 in Pulbazar, of the plains they are- 13 in Sukuna, 29 in Matigara, 34 in Naxalbari, 13 in Phansidewa and 7 in Khoribari,  117 in Coochbehar, 26 in Alipurduar, 76 in Jalpaiguri, 85 in Malda tested positive.

5 Death:
5 death reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of  Darjeeling district.

Karsang Tamang, 80 yr old of Mungpur Chowrasta,  Saraswati Mahato 38 Yr old of Gulapatti Coochbehar and Bikash Xalxo, 39 yr old of Toonbari Malbazar died in DESUN SS Covid hospital.

Mamata Rajak, 35 yr old of Kotwali, Jalpaiguri and Amber Tsh Lepcha, 55 yr old of Lodhoma Rimbick died in Dr. Chhang’s SS Covid hospital.

142 of SMC:

142 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation tested positive. They are- 11 of Ward no.38 ;  9 of Ward no. 16  ; 8 of Ward nos.25, 42 ; 7 of Ward no. 41; 6 of Ward nos.5, 10, 27 ;  4 of Ward nos. 2, 23, 24, 43;  3 of Ward nos.21, 26, 35 ;  2 of Ward nos.8, 11, 18, 36, 37, 40, 44;  1 of Ward nos . 3, 7, 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 22, 32, 34, 46.

219 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 219 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 20 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are -9 in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 5 in Mirik, 2 in Pulbazar, of the plains they are- 13 in Sukuna, 29 in Matigara, 34 in Naxalbari, 13 in Phansidewa and 7 in Khoribari, tested positive. 

Departments bulletin states that Darjeeling district with 91 new cases has 8059 confirmed cases of which 7271 have recovered and 111 died while 677 are active cases. 

3 medical personnel including 2 doctors of NBMCH tested positive.

5 in Kalimpong: 

5 new cases reported, Departments bulletin states Kalimpong district with 13 new cases has 1104 confirmed cases of which 850 have recovered, 7 died and 147 are active cases. \]

85 of Malda: 

85 new cases, 91 release reported today from Malda. Departments bulletin states Malda with 85 new cases has 6941 confirmed cases of which 6366 have recovered and 56 died and 519 are active cases.

26 of Alipurduar: 

74 new cases, 58 released reported. Departments bulletin states Alipurduar with 74 new cases has 4779 confirmed cases of which 4235 have recovered and 55 died while 489 are active cases. 

117 of Coochbehar:  

117 new cases with 76 release reported. Departments bulletin states Coochbehar with 95 new cases has 5949 confirmed cases of which 5212 have recovered, 39 died and 698 are active cases. 

76 of Jalpaiguri:  

3 dead, 76 new cases with 73 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. Departments bulletin states Jalpaiguri with 76 new cases has 6178 confirmed cases of which 59 died while 5614 have recovered and 505 are active cases. 

70 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 70 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and other from Safe homes were discharged today.

NBMCH

15 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 4 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 8 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward and 3 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward are admitted.

1 of Kalimpong and 1 of Chhota Suruk Kalimpong admitted.

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 1 each of, Sonada, Simulbari, Silban Garidhura, Bloomfield, Naya Bazar, Krishnanagar Mirik, Rongchong Lohapul, Saureni Mirik, Dr. Z. Hussain Rd, Ghayabari, Batasia, Kurseong, Mirik, RN Sinha Road, Teesta Valley,Mahanadi, Kutchery Road and 1 each of Tripai, Sadhudhara, and Samthar of GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 78 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 16 are in ICU and 16 patients are newly admitted and 9 released

1 each of Lower Manju, Mungpoo, and 40 Dhura,  of GTA area are admitted. 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

55 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 7 patients are released. 25 patients are being treated in its Safe home.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 1054 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 637 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1691.

There are 24 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 30 in GTA area and 29 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 2 in 1 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 85 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
