KalimNews, Kalimpong, 20 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

15 Death:

Death of 3 in Darjeeling, 1 in Alipurduar, 1 in Coochbehar, 5 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, 3 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

597 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 597 new cases, 634 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 597 new cases, 34945 confirmed cases of which 31280 have recovered and 323 died while 4342 are active cases.

67 in Kalimpong:

67 new cases, 66 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 67 new cases, 3850 confirmed cases of which 3343 have recovered, 32 died and 475 are active cases.

156 in Alipurduar:

156 new cases, 120 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 156 new cases, 10265 confirmed cases of which 9302 have recovered and 92 died while 871 are active cases.

262 in Coochbehar: 

262 new cases, 244 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 262 new cases, 18438 confirmed cases of which 16642 have recovered, 76 died and 1720 are active cases.

411 in Jalpaiguri: 

411 new cases, 320 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 411 new cases, 24748 confirmed cases of which 292 died while 21701 have recovered and 2755 are active cases.

301 in Uttar Dinajpur:

301 new cases, 246 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 301 new cases, 15335 confirmed cases of which 158 died while 13367 have recovered and 1810 are active cases.

132 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

132 new cases, 167 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 132 new cases, 13520 confirmed cases of which 118 died while 12274 have recovered and 1128 are active cases.

247 in Malda:  

247 new cases, 290 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 247 new cases, 29605 confirmed cases of which 27451 have recovered and 177 died and 1977 are active cases.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 597 new cases, 34945 confirmed cases of which 31280 have recovered and 323 died while 4342 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 67 new cases, 3850 confirmed cases of which 3343 have recovered, 32 died and 475 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 156 new cases, 10265 confirmed cases of which 9302 have recovered and 92 died while 871 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 262 new cases, 18438 confirmed cases of which 16642 have recovered, 76 died and 1720 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 411 new cases, 24748 confirmed cases of which 292 died while 21701 have recovered and 2755 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 301 new cases, 15335 confirmed cases of which 158 died while 13367 have recovered and 1810 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 132 new cases, 13520 confirmed cases of which 118 died while 12274 have recovered and 1128 are active cases.

Malda records 247 new cases, 29605 confirmed cases of which 27451 have recovered and 177 died and 1977 are active cases.
