Two and half year child raped, accused arrested
Kalimpong News Express and KalimNews, 18 July 2016, Kalimpong: A 39 year old youth is arrested for raping a 2.5 year old child of Dhobidhara, Kalimpong.
Santosh Chhetri a resident of Lamini Gaon, Bhalukhop is arrested in this case by Kalimpong Police.
The incident took place at Pahelobas, Dhobi Dhara this afternoon at about 3 pm.
The victim's father, a labourer by profession lodged an FIR at Kalimpong Police Station.

He stated that while he was working outside the house, the accused Santosh, a labourer who is familiar with him and his family entered his house and raped his daughter.
On hearing the repeated cry of his child he hurriedly came back and entered his house.
He found his daughter bleeding from her private parts. He was accompanied by his neighbours and to their surprise found Santosh at the spot.
He was thrashed by the public and later handed over to Kalimpong Police.

Meanwhile the child was admitted to
