Woman killed by daughter-in-law in K?alimpong - family feud suspected-

According to the Kalimpong Police, the deceased lady a resident of Sadhudara, near Bagdhara under Kalimpong PS was stabbed by the accused at around 7 pm today.
The victim, Uma Devi Prasad, (52) wife of Mishri Lal Prasad was stabbed on her forehead, twice with a sharp cutting weapon.
She was brought dead at Kalimpong District Hospital.
The accused, Babita Kumari wife of Rakesh Prasad, who happened to be daughter-in-law of the deceased, has been detained from the nearby jhora by the police team.
Police source stated that it has started investigation on the murder and the exact cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained. However, a property dispute between the accused and the deceased’s family cannot be ruled out.
