Chandraprabha Pandey tenders apology for remarks on Nepali as non-Indian language. KalimNnews, 16 June 2022, Kalimpong: The All India Women's Conference Executive member Ms. Chandra Ms. Pandey,has sent a written apology. She has posted the apology in her tweet attaching a a written statement too. 

The text states I render my unconditional apology for my words that have hurt so many people. My intention was not to hurt anyone. My sincere apology to Indian Gorkha community. In the written statement she has added "and I hope they will forgive me".

The All India Women's Conference has also issued a written apology along with an audio apology. 
It states "AIWC has come to know about the  insensitive statement given by one of our members which has hurt the sentiments of us all as citizens of the country. We would like to Inform you that Kalimpong, Siliguri and Darjeeling branches of AIWC are associated with us from many years and have been doing wonderful job for the welfare of the society as members of AIWC. AIWC has a membership of more than 1 lakh and the irresponsible statement given by one of the members do not represent the views of the organisation. I would like to clarify that we all love and respect our most patriotic citizens, Gorkha brethren we all are aware about the history of sacrifice by the Gorkhas for the nation in the past and always in the present also. The beautiful Nepali language is very much a part of our national language introduced in VIII schedule of the Constitution1992. "
"We strongly oppose and condemn the ignorance shown by the member. On behalf of all the members of AIWC we extend unconditional apology to our dear Gorkha brothers."
It adds, "I would like to further inform that we have called for an emergency meeting today for all the members of AIWC all over India and that irresponsible member shall be shorn of all . responsibilities assigned to her, and she will definitely send unconditional apology for the insensitive remarks given by her. We are really sorry for this episode."
"All the conversations about the coming program between Ms. Aruna Pradhan and the members were without the prior sanction, approval and knowledge of the management. The remarks made by the member were not authorised by any authority nor approved by the organisation and she is responsible for the statement made. AIWC is 95 year old premier organisation working for the upliftment of the society all over country especially for the empowerment of women", it is added.
