KalimNews, Kalimpong, 7 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

1 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling is recorded during the last 24 hours.

35 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 35 new cases, 35 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 35 new cases, and till today there are 56,479 confirmed cases of which 55,578 have recovered and 532 died while 369 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:

5 new cases, 7 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, and till today there are 6,959 confirmed cases of which 6,830 have recovered, 54 died and 75 are active cases.

7 in Alipurduar:

7 new 7 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 7 new cases, and till today there are 15,481 confirmed cases of which 15,306 have recovered and 101 died while 74 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 

14 new cases, 15 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, and till today there are 28,985 confirmed cases of which 28,731 have recovered, 96 died and 158 are active cases.

12 in Jalpaiguri: 

12 new cases, 21 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 12 new cases, and till today there are 41,597 confirmed cases of which 565 died while 40,820 have recovered and 212 are active cases.

3 in Uttar Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 2 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 3 new cases, and till today, there are 19,716 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,455 have recovered 26 are active cases.

11 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

11 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 11 new cases, and till today there are 17,543 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,241 have recovered and 133 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 10 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 33,211 confirmed cases of which 32,922 have recovered and 186 died and 103 are active.
