KalimNews, Kalimpong, 2 October: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

2 Death:

Death of 1 in Darjeeling and 1 in Jalpaiguri is recorded during the last 24 hours.

22 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 22 new cases, 41 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 22 new cases, and till today there are 56,335 confirmed cases of which 55,410 have recovered and 531 died while 394 are active cases.

12 in Kalimpong:

12 new cases, 6 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 12 new cases, and till today there are 6,920 confirmed cases of which 6,796 have recovered, 53 died and 71 are active cases.

6 in Alipurduar:

6 new 7 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, and till today there are 15,447 confirmed cases of which 15,274 have recovered and 101 died while 72 are active cases.

12 in Coochbehar: 

12 new cases, 17 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 28,922 confirmed cases of which 28,658 have recovered, 96 died and 168 are active cases.

25 in Jalpaiguri: 

25 new cases, 23 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 25 new cases, and till today there are 41,518 confirmed cases of which 565 died while 40717 have recovered and 236 are active cases.

2 in Uttar Dinajpur:

2 new cases, 3 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, and till today, there are 19,708 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,443 have recovered 30 are active cases.

16 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

16 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 16 new cases, and till today there are 17,485 confirmed cases of which 169 died while 17,182 have recovered and 134 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 4 new cases, and till today there are 33,180 confirmed cases of which 32,871 have recovered and 186 died and 123 are active.
