KalimNews, Kalimpong, 21 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

20 Death:

Death of 7 in Darjeeling, 1 in Alipurduar, 1 in Coochbehar, 6 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

740 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 740 new cases, 628 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 740 new cases, 35685 confirmed cases of which 31908 have recovered and 330 died while 4447 are active cases.

45 in Kalimpong:

45 new cases, 68 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 45 new cases, 3895 confirmed cases of which 3411 have recovered, 32 died and 452 are active cases.

67 in Alipurduar:

67 new cases, 126 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 67 new cases, 10332 confirmed cases of which 9428 have recovered and 93 died while 811 are active cases.

303 in Coochbehar: 

303 new cases, 248 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 303 new cases, 18741 confirmed cases of which 16890 have recovered, 77 died and 1774 are active cases.

518 in Jalpaiguri: 

518 new cases, 394 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 518 new cases, 25266 confirmed cases of which 298 died while 22095 have recovered and 2873 are active cases.

243 in Uttar Dinajpur:

243 new cases, 262 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 243 new cases, 15578 confirmed cases of which 162 died while 13629 have recovered and 1787 are active cases.

149 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

149 new cases, 162 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 149 new cases, 13669 confirmed cases of which 119 died while 12436 have recovered and 1114 are active cases.

157 in Malda:  

157 new cases, 285 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 157 new cases, 29762 confirmed cases of which 27736 have recovered and 177 died and 1849 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 149 new cases, 13669 confirmed cases of which 119 died while 12436 have recovered and 1114 are active cases.

Malda records 157 new cases, 29762 confirmed cases of which 27736 have recovered and 177 died and 1849 are active cases.
