Mumbai couple in Darj hospital- admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital

SNS, DARJEELING, 3 APRIL 2021: A couple from Mumbai has been admitted in the Darjeeling Sadar Hospital after their Covid- 19 test reports showed they were infected. According to sources, Amit Viswakarma and Yojna Padte had arrived in Darjeeling yesterday. They had conducted Covid tests in Mumbai, but had travelled without the test reports being delivered.
Sources said their test reports arrived in the hotel they had been staying in Darjeeling and that the hotel staff inquired about it and informed the hospital.
"They have been admitted in the isolation ward of the hospital and will be referred to the hospital concerned tomorrow," a source said.
It is learnt that the hotel staff have been asked to remain in quarantine, while they will also be tested for the virus.
Chief Medical Officer of Health in Darjeeling district Pralay Acharya said he had learnt of the case and that he was trying to gather more information on it.
