KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 48 hours is as follows:

14 Death:

Death of 4 in Darjeeling, 1 in Alipurduar, 5 in Jalpaiguri, 3 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 48 hours.

1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Coochbehar and 6 in Malda

535 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 535 new cases, 535 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Darjeeling district records 535 new cases, 28101 confirmed cases of which 24185 have recovered and 256 died while 3660 are active cases.

41 in Kalimpong:

41 new cases, 31 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Kalimpong district records 41 new cases, 3083 confirmed cases of which 2686 have recovered, 29 died and 368 are active cases.

27 in Alipurduar:

27 new cases, 60 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Alipurduar records 27 new cases, 8905 confirmed cases of which 8287 have recovered and 91 died while 527 are active cases.

228 in Coochbehar: 

228 new cases, 214 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Coochbehar records 228 new cases, 15321 confirmed cases of which 13932 have recovered, 75 died and 1314 are active cases.

278 in Jalpaiguri: 

278 new cases, 234 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Jalpaiguri records 278 new cases, 19872 confirmed cases of which 220 died while 17758 have recovered and 1894 are active cases.

364 in Uttar Dinajpur:

364 new cases, 297 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 364 new cases, 12165 confirmed cases of which 112 died while 10094 have recovered and 1959 are active cases.

252 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

252 new cases, 189 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 252 new cases, 11346 confirmed cases of which 95 died while 9867 have recovered and 1384 are active cases.

597 in Malda:  

597 new cases, 587 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 48 hour Malda records 597 new cases, 25898 confirmed cases of which 22257 have recovered and 175 died and 3466 are active cases.

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 48 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 535 new cases, 28101 confirmed cases of which 24185 have recovered and 256 died while 3660 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 41 new cases, 3083 confirmed cases of which 2686 have recovered, 29 died and 368 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 27 new cases, 8905 confirmed cases of which 8287 have recovered and 91 died while 527 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 228 new cases, 15321 confirmed cases of which 13932 have recovered, 75 died and 1314 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 278 new cases, 19872 confirmed cases of which 220 died while 17758 have recovered and 1894 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 364 new cases, 12165 confirmed cases of which 112 died while 10094 have recovered and 1959 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 252 new cases, 11346 confirmed cases of which 95 died while 9867 have recovered and 1384 are active cases.

Malda records 597 new cases, 25898 confirmed cases of which 22257 have recovered and 175 died and 3466 are active cases.
