Gobardhan Sharma, 70 yr old patient of Netaji Subhas Road Sevoke Rad Siliguri died today in CCU of Covid Ward I of NBMCH.
Amar kanti Saha, 61 yr old patient of Malbazar died yesterday, in Male Medicine 2 Ward of NBMCH.
Krishna Biswas, 52 yr old of Alipurduar died last night in Male Medical Ward 1 of NBMCH.
Dipa Sarkar, 27 yr old of Surya Sen Colony Siliguri died today in HDU of Covid Ward of NBMCH.
Bikash Das, 65 yr old of Kawakhali Siliguri died today in Male Medicine II Ward of NBMCH
Sujit kr Saha, 68 yr old of Bharat Nagar Siliguri died today in Covid Block I of NBMCH.
Dipak Rai, 37 yr old of Daokimari Dhupguri died today in HDU of Covid Ward of NBMCH.
Anupam Chanda, 67 yr old of Sahudangi Thakurnagar Siliguri died today in CCU of Covid Ward of NBMCH.
Kalawati Devi Prasad, 72 yr old of Damdim died today in Covid Block II of Covid Ward of NBMCH.
Rajiv Waling Rai, 54 yr old of Gandhi Road Darjeeling died yesterday in Covid I of NBMCH.
Rita Ghose 69 yr old of Milan Palli Siliguri died today in Female Medicine I (Covid Block III) of NBMCH.
Sima Chhetri, 47 yr old patient of Dagapur Siliguri died today in a nursing home at Sevoke Road Siliguri
Supriti Kundu, patient of Subhaspalli died today in in a nursing home at Hill Cart Road Siliguri
NT Lepcha (Retired BDO) of Mission Compound Darjeeling died in Darjeeling Sadar Hospital today.
Test report received from Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) at NBMCH
Total number of swab samples received for Reverse Transcription (RTPCR) Tests from the districts of Darjeeling- 659, Kalimpong- 223, Jalpaiguri– 348, Alipurduar- 234 is 1464.Of these 285 samples test positive.
238 in SMC:
238 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (185 in Darjeeling and 53 in Jalpaiguri districts) test positive.
420 in Darjeeling district:
Record 420 positive cases reported in the district of Darjeeling, of which 185 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC.
55 cases reported from the Darjeeling Hills (12 in Darjeeling Municipality, 11 in Kurseong Municipality, 16 in Mirik, 3 in Bijanbari, 4 in Sukhiapokhari, 9 in Takdah ).
180 of the plains (123 in Matigara, 15 in Naxalbari, 7 in Khoribari, 11 in Phansidewa, 24 in Sukuna) also test positive.

138 patients in NBMCH:
138 patients are being treated for Covid- 19 and suspected Covid- 19 infection in the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Out of this 59 are admitted in the CCU unit of the Covid Block I and 31 in Covid Block II (Chest & Cardiac Unit) of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH), 35 in Covid Block III (Female Medicine)

During the last 24 hours 13 patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 6 patients in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, 6 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward (ID III) and 1 in Isolation ward -1, but no patients in surgical isolation ward.
250 Discharged:
250 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.
