Tests Done in the District of Darjeeling-365, Kalimpong-33, Jalpaiguri-292, Alipurduar-169, TOTAL=849. Positive-1 (New) and 1 Repeat test.

7 in SMC:

7 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (7 in Darjeeling and 0 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

7 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 7 positive cases all 7 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC.

0 in Kalimpong:

0 new case, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 0 new case, 2229 confirmed cases of which 2173 have recovered, 26 died and 30 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new case, 2 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 1 new case, 7702 confirmed cases of which 7596 have recovered and 86 died while 20 are active cases.

1 in Coochbehar: 

1 new case, 3 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 1 new case, 11825 confirmed cases of which 11701 have recovered, 72 died and 52 are active cases.

2 new cases, 3 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 2 new cases, 6643 confirmed cases of which 75 died while 6472 have recovered and 96 are active cases.

1 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

1 new case, 1 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 1 new case, 8168 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8053 have recovered and 41 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new case, 6 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 1 new case, 12665 confirmed cases of which 12484 have recovered and 114 died and 67 are active cases.

10 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 11 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.

During the last 24 hours no suspected Covid patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is no patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, and no patients in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

In Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 8 Covid-19 patients (6 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours 1 patient is newly admitted while none are released.
