27 recovered from Covid-19,  Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 25 of Kalimpong, 90 of Darjeeling district, 7 in Darjeeling Municipality, 10 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 1 in Mirik, 1 in Pulbazar and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 8 in Sukuna, 9 in Matigara, 15 in Naxalbari, 6 in Phansidewa and 4 in Khoribari,  62 in Alipurduar, 29 in Jalpaiguri, 68 in Coochbehar, 130 in Malda tested positive.

Nil Death:   No deaths reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district.

39 of SMC:

39 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (30 in Darjeeling and 9 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

90 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 90 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 30 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 21 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are - 7 in Darjeeling Municipality, 10 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 1 in Mirik, 1 in Pulbazar and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 8 in Sukuna, 9 in Matigara, 15 in Naxalbari, 6 in Phansidewa and 4 in Khoribari, tested positive. 

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district with 115 new cases, 9248 confirmed cases of which 8281 have recovered and 125 died while 842 are active cases. 

25 of Kalimpong: 
25 new cases from Kalimpong reported, State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district with 25 new cases, 1223 confirmed cases of which 1040 have recovered, 9 died and 174 are active cases. 

71 of Malda: 

130 new cases, reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda with 97 new cases, 8089 confirmed cases of which 7202 have recovered and 63 died and 824 are active cases.

 

62 of Alipurduar:

62 new cases, 55 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar with 73 new cases,  5611 confirmed cases of which 4960 have recovered and 68 died while 583 are active cases. 

68 of Coochbehar: 

68 new cases with 103 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar with 81 new cases, 7020 confirmed cases of which 6222 have recovered, 45 died and 753 are active cases. 

29 of Jalpaiguri: 

1 died, 29 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours.

Jalpaiguri with 90 new cases, 7208 confirmed cases of which 71 died while 6439 have recovered and 698 are active cases. 

27 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 27 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and other from Safe homes were discharged today.  

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 22 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 8 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 7 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward, 7 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 78 Covid-19 patients are admitted, while during the last 24 hours 11 patients are newly admitted and 12 are released.

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital-  Som TE, Gidha Chandra Busty, Kurseong Hospital, Singel TE, Kurseong, Tungsung, Bagora, Lower Mansing Sittong, 2 each of Naya Bazar,  Darjeeling, and 1 each of Sadhudhara, Thakurbari, Sindebong, Pudung Busty, and Kalimpong,   GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 63 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 2 patients are newly admitted and 14 released.

1 each of Tukvar and 9^th Mile, Pudung Busty and Butchery Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted. 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

55 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 7 patients are released. 25 patients are being treated in its Safe home.

1 of  Mirik and 3 of Sukuna -GTA admitted.

29 patients of Kalimpong and 6 from Darjeeling are admitted and 3 released and 1 referred from this hospital.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES

The number of Covid-19 infected people in the district of Darjeeling are, 857 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 645 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1502.

There are 21 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 33 in GTA area and 27 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 4 in Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 92 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
