KalimNews, Kalimpong, 14 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

18 Death:

Death of 6 in Darjeeling, 4 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 4 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Coochbehar and 6 in Malda7 in Alipurduar, 

665 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 665 new cases, 598 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 665 new cases, 31959 confirmed cases of which 27666 have recovered and 294 died while 3999 are active cases.

75 in Kalimpong:

75 new cases, 41 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 75 new cases, 3447 confirmed cases of which 2968 have recovered, 31 died and 448 are active cases.

141 in Alipurduar:

141 new cases, 54 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 141 new cases, 9586 confirmed cases of which 8605 have recovered and 91 died while 890 are active cases.

283 in Coochbehar: 

283 new cases, 191 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 283 new cases, 16853 confirmed cases of which 15181 have recovered, 75 died and 1597 are active cases.

439 in Jalpaiguri: 

439 new cases, 313 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 439 new cases, 22295 confirmed cases of which 260 died while 19583 have recovered and 2452 are active cases.

245 in Uttar Dinajpur:

245 new cases, 298 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 245 new cases, 13649 confirmed cases of which 131 died while 11845 have recovered and 1673 are active cases.

171 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

171 new cases, 213 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 171 new cases, 12593 confirmed cases of which 109 died while 11246 have recovered and 1238 are active cases.

320 in Malda:  

320 new cases, 568 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 320 new cases, 28109 confirmed cases of which 25493 have recovered and 175 died and 2441 are active cases.
