Shankar Bardhan, 64 yrs, of Suryanagar Alipurduar died in Desun hospital
Amarendra Nath  Sanyal, 65 yrs, of Ward no. 11 Siliguri died.

36 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (17 of Darjeeling and 19 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are: 4 of Ward no. 43; 3 of Ward nos. 2, 33, 37; 2 of Ward nos. 12, 27, 31, 41;
1 of Ward nos . 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 30, 36, 40, 42, 46 and others.

81 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 81 positive cases of Darjeeling district 14 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 67 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 1 of Darjeeling MC (CR Das Road), 1 of Kurseong MC, 3 of Kalimpong, 1 of Mirik, 15 of Pulbazar of Bijanbari, 3 of Sukhiapokhari, 3 of Takdah, 1 of Sukuna, 13 of Naxalbari, 4 of Phansidewa, 17 of Matigara (7 of Samarnagar) and 5 of Khoribari.  

 
4 of Kalimpong district: 4 new cases reported from Kalimpong.
56 of Malda: 56 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 4463 confirmed cases of which 4192 have recovered and 39 died and 634 are active cases.
 
41 of Alipurduar: 41 new cases reported. An ASI of Falakatta and others tested positive. In the district there are 2091 confirmed cases of which 920 have recovered and 11 died while 1061 are active cases.
 
98 of Coochbehar: 1 died, 98 new cases of Covid 19 infection. 45 of Coochbehar Sadar, 21 of Dinhatta, 23 of Tufangunj, 3 of Mathabhanga and 6 of Mekhligunj tested positive. The complete report of the district is 2477 confirmed cases of which 1864 have recovered, 8 died and 613 are active cases.
 
72 of Jalpaiguri: 72 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. 22 of Oodlabari, 2 of Rajgunj, 9 of Maynaguri,  tested positive. Jalpaiguri has 3460 confirmed cases of which 34 died while 2726 have recovered and 711 are active cases.
 
56 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 56 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
 
NBMCH
14 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is no patient in ID-1 and 3 in Surgical Isolation, 5 patient in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 6 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 of Mirik admitted.
 
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 
At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 72 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 13 are newly admitted while 5 are released. 
5 of Kurseong, 1 of Takdah, and 1 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.
3 of Kalimpong admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 48 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 8 patients are newly admitted and 8 released.1 dead
4 of Darjeeling, 2 of Kurseong, 1 Rongtong and 1 of Sukuna, of GTA area are admitted in this hospital. 2 released.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home
53 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 38 are Covid patients. 7 released.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 917 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 693 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1610. 
There is 20 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 40 in GTA area and 45 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 1 in 1 Safe home out side GTA area, the tally being 89 as active cases.
Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal
Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 5056 confirmed cases of which 4245 have recovered and 75 died while 736 are active cases. 
Similarly Kalimpong district has 470 confirmed cases of which 403 have recovered, 3 died and 64 are active cases. 
Alipurduar has 2057 confirmed cases of which 1362 have recovered and 12 died while 683 are active cases. 
Jalpaiguri has 3591 confirmed cases of which 35 died while 2787 have recovered and 769 are active cases. 
Coochbehar has 2908 confirmed cases of which 2135 have recovered, 9 died and 764 are active cases.
