1 death:
Krishna Mandal , 45 Yrs, of Banarhat Jalpaiguri died in Desun hospital.
30 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (14 of Darjeeling and 16 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive.
66 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 68 positive cases of Darjeeling district 14 are from Darjeeling district
of SMC while 52 cases are reported from different areas of the district during
the last 24 hrs. They are 2 of Darjeeling MC, 10 of Kurseong MC, 1 of
Mirik, 2 of Pulbazar of Bijanbari, 1 of Sukhiapokhari, 5 of Sukuna, 17 of
Naxalbari, 1 of Phansidewa, 11 of Matigara and 2 of Khoribari.
2 of Kalimpong district: 2 new cases reported from Kalimpong.
56 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 56 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun
Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
NBMCH
14 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North
Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
There is no patient in ID-1 and 3 in Surgical Isolation, 5 patient in
Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 6 in Female -Gynecological Isolation
ward are admitted.
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital
At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 65 patients are admitted today
in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 8 are newly admitted while 5 are
released.
5 of Kurseong, 1 of Takdah, and 1 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.
2 of Kalimpong released.
DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 44 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 8
patients are newly admitted and 9 released.
5 of Darjeeling, 3 of Kurseong, 1 Rongtong and 1 of Sukuna, of GTA area are
admitted in this hospital. 3 released and 1 dead.
NIVEDITA Nursing Home
46 patients are admitted of which 11 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra
and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 31 are
Covid patients. 7 released.
