3 death, 91 recovery, Fresh positive cases – 13 in hills,

31 in SMC during last 24 hrs.  –3 in Kalimpong, 5 in Darjeeling, 3 in Kurseong, 1 in Pulbazar/ Jorebunglow, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 3 in Sukuna, 12 in Matigara, 18 in Naxalbari, and 1 in Khoribari, 69 in Coochbehar, 68 in Alipurduar, 94 in Jalpaiguri, 21 in Malda tested positive.

3 Death:

Abdul Kalam, 50 yr old of Chakulia Ranigunj, Jyotsna Saha, 68 yr old of Bhanunbhakta Sarani, Nar Bahadur Limbu, 64 yr old of Shastrinagar died in Desun Covid Hospital

31 of SMC:

31 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (17 in Darjeeling and 18 in Jalpaiguri districts)  tested positive. The infected are- 4 of Ward no.2 ;  3 of ward nos. 35,  41 ;  2 of Ward nos. 10, 16, 24, 38, 43 ; 1 each of Ward nos. 3, 8, 13, 25, 31, 32, 34, 36, 37, 42,  44.

64 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 64 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district  18 are from SMC area. The rest are 1 in Darjeeling Municipality (Central Plaza), 1 each in Tungsung, Lamadanra, St Pauls, Tung, 3 in Kurseong, 1 in Sukhiapokhari, 1 in Jorebunglow, 3 in Sukuna, 12 in Matigara, 18 in Naxalbari, and 1 in Khoribari tested positive. 

Darjeeling district has 6909 confirmed cases of which 5972 have recovered and 99 died while 842 are active cases. 

Similarly 

3 in Kalimpong: 3 new cases reported including Deputy Magistrate of Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 751 confirmed cases of which 602- have recovered, 4 died and 145 are active cases. 

21 of Malda: 21 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 6112 confirmed cases of which 5451 have recovered and 52 died and 609 are active cases.

68 of Alipurduar:  2 died, 68 new cases reported. Alipurduar has 3820 confirmed cases of which 3146 have recovered and 36 died while 638 are active cases. 

69 of Coochbehar:  69 new cases with 29 release reported. Coochbehar has 4788 confirmed cases of which 4148 have recovered, 29 died and 611 are active cases. 

94 of Jalpaiguri: 2 died, 94 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 5233 confirmed cases of which 43 died while 4536 have recovered and 654 are active cases. 

91 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 91 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

 

NBMCH

13 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 3 patients in Surgical isolation ward, 3 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and 7 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 77 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 3 is newly admitted and 10 released.

3 of Giddepahar Kurseong and 1 each of Ghoom, Ropeway, Sonada, Tindharia, Dowhill, Meadow Bank Darjeeling,  Barun Busty, Naya Busty, Kurseong, Sonada and 1 each of Ongden Road, Rockvale,  Chandraloke and Jaldhaka of GTA area and re admitted. 2 are released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 65 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 15 are in ICU and 3 patients are newly admitted and 13 released.

1 each of Sukhiapokhari, and Ahalay of Gorubathan are admitted. 2 Mahendra Gaon Mirik, Sonada are released.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

54 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 36 are Covid patients. 7 released.
