WB records 55 death, 3175 new cases, 122753 confirmed cases, 27535 active cases, 2987 recovery, recovery rate increased to 75.51%.
In the state
the number of new cases also has been increasing, it has recorded 3175
new cases (1 day before-3080, 2 days before- 3066) as well as 55 death
(1 day before-45, 2 days before- 51) during the last 24 hours.
The
total number of recovery is 2987 (1 day before-2932, 2 days before- 2935) and 122753 confirmed cases (1 day before-119578, 2 days before- 116498)
while active cases is 27535 (1 day before-27402, 2 days before-27299). The
death toll from the disease in the state till now is 2528 (1 day before-2473, 2
days before-2428). After recovery of the infection 92690 (1 day before-89703,
days before- 86771) Covid patients are released from all the Covid hospitals of
the state.
The testing
of swab samples for Covid-19 in 68, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the
last 24 hours 35107 (1 day before-32319, 2 days before-32286) samples were
tested that tally 1382198 (1 day before-1347091, 2 days before- 1314772) till
now since day 1.
In the last
24 hours, 418439 persons (1 day before-41937, 2 days before- 39731) were under
home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 462366 persons (1 day
before-457231, 2 days before- 452116) were in the home quarantine/ observation/
surveillance till today.
Number of
people released from home quarantine was 418439 (1 day-415294, 2 days before- 412385).
Currently in
the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 2639 persons
(1 day before-2665, 2 days before- 2661) and so far from these centres 106848
persons (1 day before-106807, 2 days before- 106752) were released after
recovery.
Currently in the state there are 84 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 29 Government Covid hospitals and 55 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
