Covid Status of West Bengal : Record spike of 46 death, 2434 new cases, 67692 confirmed cases, 19900 active cases, 2140 recovery, recovery rate increased to 68.33%.

In the state the number of new cases also has been increasing and during the last 24 hours it has 2434 new cases (1 day before-2294, 2 days before- 2134) as well as 46 death (1 day before-41, 2 days before- 38) is recorded in the last 24 hours.

The total number of recovery is 2140 (1 day before-2094, 2 days before- 2105) and confirmed cases is 67692 (1 day before-65258, 2 days before- 62964) while active cases is 19900 (1 day before-19652, 2 days before-19493). The death toll from the disease in the state till now is 1536 (1 day before-1490, 2 days before-1449). After recovery of the infection 46256 (1 day before-44116, days before- 42022) Covid patients are released from the hospital.

The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 57, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 18042 (1 day before-17144, 2 days before-17021) samples were tested that tally 874397 (1 day before-856355, 2 days before- 839211) till now since day 1.

In the last 24 hours, 31424 persons (1 day before-32280, 2 days before- 33628) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 406369 persons (1 day before-403571, 2 days before- 401831) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.

Number of people released from home quarantine was 374945 (1 day-371291, 2 days before- 368203).
