Recovery rate increased to 58.12%- 441 new cases and 11 death
In the state 441 new cases (1 day before-355, 2 days before- 435) as well as 11 death (1 day before-11, 2 days before-12) and 562 recovery (1 day before-302, 2 days before-468) is recorded in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 13531 (1 day before-13090, 2 days before-12735) while active cases is 5126 (1 day before-5216, 2 days before-5836). The death toll from the disease till now is 540 (1 day before-529, 2 days before-518).
After recovery of the infection 7865 (1 day before-7303, days before-7001) are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has encouragingly increased to 58.12%
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 48, ICMR testing labs is being done at a very good rate and in the last 24 hours 10330 (1 day before-10321, 2 days before-9315) samples within 24 hour were tested that tally 390942 (1 day before-380612, 2 days before-370291) till now since day 1.
Currently 160726 persons (1 day before-142869, 2 days before-148209) were currently under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 297308 persons (1 day before-296695, 2 days before-285321) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 136582 (1 day before-153826, 2 days before-143728).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 9123 persons (1 day before-9484, 2 days before-10110) and so far from these centres 89421 persons (1 day before-88279, 2 days before-86512) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 69 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 16 Government Covid hospitals and 53 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
