Highest spike of 8392 new cases, 1,90,535 total confirmed cases ▪️91,819 cases cured/recovered

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 1 June 2020:  69th day of national lockdown-India witnessed a highest spike of 8392 fresh coronavirus cases which is 12 more than the highest cases of May 31 (8,380 cases). The other next highest were on May 30 (7,964 cases) and May 29 (7,466 cases).
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s latest data released, the total number of cases in the country now stands at 1,90,535 including 93,322 active cases and 230 deaths in the last 24 hours. As many as 91,819 people have been cured/discharged. The death toll has reached 5,394.
After the first confirmed positive case was reported on January 30 in Kerala, the epidemic has expanded its footprints in the country, affecting more than 1.25 lakh people.
The country is under lockdown since 25th March and it has been extended till 30th June 2020 in five phases. Today is the first day of the Unlock-1 (Lockdown Fifth) of the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19. 

Today number of  patients released after recovery was 4835 (1 day before-4614, 2 days before-11264) that tally 91819 (1 day before-86984, 2 days before-82370) that is 43.45 per cent of patients have recovered which is a very good result.
Within the last 24 hours 93322 active cases (1 day before-89995, 2 days before-86422) is recorded. Today there are 8392 new cases (1 day before-8380, 2 days before-7964) and 190535 confirmed cases (1 day before-182143, 2 days before-173763) is recorded. 

Maharashtra still remains the worst-hit state of the country with 67655 confirmed cases (1 day before-65168, 2 days before-62228), 2286 death (1 day before-2197, 2 days before-2098) and 29329 recovery (1 day before-28081, 2 days before-26997).
Tamilnadu is the second highest with 22333 confirmed cases (1 day before-21184, 2 days before-20246) and 173 death (1 day before-160, 2 days before-154) and 12757 recovery (1 day before-12000, 2 days before-11313). 
Delhi is again in the third position with highest increase of cases observed, with    19844 confirmed cases (1 day before-18549, 2 days before- 17386), 8478recovery (1 day before-8075, 2 days before- 7846), and 473 death (1 day before-416, 2 days before- 398).

Gujrat, is in the fourth position and has 16779 confirmed cases (1 day before-16343, 2 days before 15934) and 1038 death (1 day before-1007, 2 days before-938) and 9919 recovery (1 day before-9230, 2 days before-960) and release from Hospital.
