Sikkim no more a green zone state - First Covid case reported

KalimNews, 23 May 2020, Kalimpong: First case of Coronavirus infection is reported from green Sikkim today. 
A 25 year of South Sikkim is reported to have been infected of Coronavirus, the first case of the state. His case was confirmed after getting a report of positive infection from VRDL laboratory of  North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. 
Dr PT Bhutia, DG cum Health Secretary stated that he came to Sikkim from Delhi on 17 May by private bus till Siliguri and then in SNT bus. He had been staying in Haiderpur of Delhi attending a coaching centre and staying in a paying guest. On his arrival to Sikkim he was sent to JNV School Rothak quarantine facility of West Sikkim on 19. 
On 21st he complained of fever and chills and on 22nd he was tested at STNM hospital through TrueNaT machine. The result was positive for Covid-19. 
So for the confirmation of the test his single sample was sent today at NBMCH for RTPCR test and today itself the report was received confirming it to be positive. He is now at isolation ward and his condition is stable. He is in medication and almost cured..
His contacts during his journey is being traced and the administration is confirmed that all are at different facility quarantines. His treating doctors and nurses are also being quarantined.
