One nore family member of Sing family is released- Total 6




KalimNews, Kalimpong 14 April 2020: One more Sing family member of Kalimpong is released today from the quarantine centre who was asymptomic to Covid 19. The Covid 19 test result from the Virus Reasearch and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) of NBMCH issued declared that test of 5 people who were at Disha Centre and 4 people who were at home quarantines are found negative. They were released and advised further 14 days self quarantine as precautionary measure.
As per the statement of daily report, today 1 Covid 19 positive nurse working at NBMCH is admitted at Dr. Chang's Super speciality Hospital and 2 person of the Singh family is waiting for release at Dr. Chang's hospital.Other two a mother and her daughter is also waiting for the final test result at Jalpaiguri Specility Hospital.  
According to a source 2 nurses and husband of a nurse is found Covid 19 positive and under treatment. Currently only 2 patients are still in Dr. Chang's Hospital under Isolation. Another person from Pokhriabong of Darjeeling district wth suspected symptoms is also admitted at NBMCH .
As per the daily statement issued by GTA 3 more asymptomic persons of Darjeeling district have completed quarantine period. They were in self quarantine and there are still 116 persons to complete it. Yesterday there were 119 persons in self quarantine. 
In Kalimpong district since 14 asymptometic people are moved at ITI, Upper Fagu in Gorubathan for quarantine. 
After the release of 5 there are still 18 persons in quarantine centres at Disha Centre and 23 in Marwari Bhawan of Kalimpong. 
Today's report states that 36 asymptomic persons completed their self quarantine in Kalimpong and there are still 145 persons to complete. There were 181 persons, yesterday in self quarantine. 
In the country the number of confirmed cases is 11439 with 377 deaths and 1306 discharged, the highest cases is recorded in Maharashtra as 2687 confirmed cases with 178 deaths and 259 release after recovery. The next is Delhi with 1561 confirmed cases and 30 death and 30 recovery followed by Tamilnadu with 1204 confirmed case and 12 death with 81 discharged. Madhyapradesh has the second highest death counting to 50 deaths. 
The number of active Covid-19 cases in the state of West Bengal rose to 213. Of these 37 have been discharged after recovery. 
As of today at present 439 persons are admitted in hospital isolation. So far, 7 persons expired due to Covid-19. An official release of the West Bengal Health and family welfare department on Covid-19 states that 3081 samples are tested for Covid-19 in the state and 38496 persons are under home observation/surveillance and 18122 persons have completed surveillance. 2395 persons have been admitted under hospital isolation and so far 1956 persons have been discharged from hospital isolation after completing quarantine and testing negative. In the state there are 582 Institutional Quarantine Centres in which 11470 persons are kept in Institutional Quarantine (Cumulative) and so far 7341 persons have been released from Institutional Quarantine (Cumulative).
