It continued to move north - northeastwards and weakened further. The deep depression over Bangladesh and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal moved further northeastwards with a speed of about 29 kmph in last six hours, weakened into a depression and lay centred at 1130 hrs IST of 04th May, 2019 over Bangladesh near latitude 24.3°N and longitude 89.3°E, about 120 km north-northwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh) and 200 km south-southwest of Dhubri (Assam).
It continued to move north - northeastwards and weakened further. The deep depression over Bangladesh and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal moved further northeastwards with a speed of about 29 kmph in last six hours, weakened into a depression and lay centred at 1130 hrs IST of 04th May, 2019 over Bangladesh near latitude 24.3°N and longitude 89.3°E, about 120 km north-northwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh) and 200 km south-southwest of Dhubri (Assam).
It is very likely to continue to move northeastwards and weaken further into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 12 hours.

Further forecast is as follows: Squally wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph is likely along & off West Bengal coast during the next 6 hours. The Sea conditions likely to be rough to very rough over along & off West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh coasts during the same period.
