Central forces for all Hills booths
Saibal Gupta, TNN, 16 April 2019, Kolkata: The Election Commission has decided to deploy central forces in all booths in the Hills. EC sources indicated the 874 booths under Darjeeling will have at least 55 companies deployed. The security plan for the second and third phases of the election was finalised after EC officials met Vivek Dubey, special central observer for Bengal, on Monday.
