2 bodies found in Teesta
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 31 August: One unidentified and another of a resident of Sukiapokhari was found in the river Teesta at TLDP-III barrage of NHPC.
It is reported that 2 dead bodies were seen floating in the barrage area at 27th mile of TLDP-III under NHPC. With the help of the local rafters Rambi police fished out the dead bodies.
Later one body was identified as of Milan Pradhan (40) of Sukiapokhari. Pradhan was missing from Singtam of Sikkim where had been to his relative's place. The other body is yet to be identified.
Both the bodies were sent to NB Medical College & Hospital for autopsy.
