RIMS Imphal Secures 2nd Rank in Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah 2026

Aseem Bhakta Singh, KalimNews, Imphal, April 12, 2026: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the second position among Government of India institutions with a workforce strength of 1,000 to 2,500 employees in the Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah 2026.

The nationwide initiative was organised by the Capacity Building Commission as part of its 5th Foundation Day celebrations. The programme was conducted from April 2 to April 8 and later extended until April 10.

It was implemented through the iGOT Karmayogi portal, a digital learning platform designed to enhance the capacity of government employees through flexible “anytime, anywhere” training modules. The portal offers a broad range of courses, from basic office procedures and administrative rules to advanced and emerging domains such as artificial intelligence and cyber security.

The Karmayogi Sadhana Saptah aimed to promote healthy competition among central government ministries, organisations, and institutions by evaluating participation and completion of selected training modules across different levels of officials.

RIMS Imphal competed alongside premier institutions, including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), making the achievement especially significant. The accomplishment stands out further as it was secured despite challenges posed by internet disruptions in the state during the period.

The Director of RIMS congratulated all staff members for their dedication and performance, and encouraged them to continue maintaining the same spirit of commitment and excellence in future endeavours.
