Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely in south Bengal districts, including Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Purulia, Bankura, Birbhum, Murshidabad and Nadia, between March 15 and March 17, the IMD said.
