Secondary Edu Board introduces online enrollment process

MP, 11 Nov 2024, Kolkata: In a significant move toward digital transformation, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the introduction of an online enrollment process for the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) 2025.
Ramanuj Ganguly, president of WBBSE stated that this is part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to execute the digitisation vision of the state school education. “WBBSE has been progressively and systematically executing the digitisation vision of the state School Education department, for some time now.
Digitisation of enrollment and admit card issuance process for Madhyamik 2025 will streamline the process, make it more efficient, reduce the load of manual work both for schools and the board, thereby expected to ensure more accuracy and errorless entry, provided all the stakeholders comply with guidelines and maintain the timeline as notified,” said Ganguly.
According to the notification published by WBBSE, the enrollment process for eligible candidates for Madhyamik 2025 will be conducted entirely online. The process will commence on December 2 at 11 am and continue until midnight on December 18. Schools must complete this process via the website www.wbbsedata.com.
Detailed instructions and guidelines are given by the board and schools are advised to follow these instructions carefully to ensure accurate and timely enrollment. Additionally, the board will introduce the Application and Certificate process for Children With Special Needs candidates on the same website.
Schools were instructed to ensure that every CWSN candidate is facilitated to avail the said online process without any hassle. The previously scheduled Camp Offices for November 12-13 and December 11-12 have been cancelled in light of the new online enrollment process. However, one Camp Office will be held on December 20-21, for the distribution of Registration
Certificates for Class IX students. Schools must also submit authenticated reports of enrollment and supporting documents for verification.
