Jabala Sikdar, who left home due to mental illness, was found in the Banarhat area and taken to Saju Talukdar Haven Center Home. She was finally brought back to her family after being recognized on social media.
Jabala Sikdar, a resident of Malda district, disappeared from home nine months ago due to a mental health crisis. Despite the family's extensive efforts to locate her, they were unsuccessful.
During this time, Jabala was found wandering around the Banarhat area. Concerned locals took her to Saju Talukdar Haven Center Home. Saju Talukder shared pictures and information about Jabala on Facebook. It was through social media that Jabala's daughter, Lata Shikder, recognized her mother and brought her home from the Haven Center Home.
Lata and the other family members are overjoyed to have their mother back. Jabala was in tears as she embraced her daughter, saying, "Even after being lost on the road, I always wanted to return home.
