EOI, SILIGURI, AUGUST 25, 2024 : The Ashighar police, in a late-night raid on Saturday, apprehended a youth in possession of 47 ATM cards belonging to various banks.
The accused hails from the Kundu Pukur Math area of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
Following a tip-off, the police found the accused in suspicious circumstances, leading to a search that uncovered the numerous ATM cards.
The cards, from different banks, were in his possession without any credible explanation, prompting his immediate detention.
This arrest has raised concerns about potential financial fraud and the misuse of multiple ATM cards, highlighting the importance of vigilance against such activities.
