KalimNews, Kalimpong, 16 January 2024: IMD has issued weather forecast and warning for the next five days that indicates of rain, hailstorm, dense fog. It states that in the Sub Himalayan West Bengal states light rain/snow is likely to occur at one or two places over Darjeeling, Kalimpong districts on 16 January 2024. Light rain may also is likely to occur at one or two places over Alipurduar district. Dry weather is expected most likely over rest of the districts.

Warning issued states dense fog conditions is likely to occur at one or two places over all the districts.

On 17 January, light to moderate rain/snow is likely to occur at a few places over Darjeeling, Kalimpong districts. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Alipurduar district. Light rain may also likely to occur at one or two places over rest district.

Hailstorm is likely to occur at one or two places over Kalimpong district. Dense fog conditions likely to occur at one or two places over all the districts.

On 18 January, light to moderate rain/snow is likely to occur at a few places over Darjeeling, Kalimpong districts. Light to moderate rain may be expected at a few places over Alipurduar district.
