Daring robbery at car showroom in Siliguri: 24 lakh looted
EOI, SILIGURI, 30 JUNE 2023: In an incident of robbery in a car showroom in the Shiv Mandir area of Siliguri early on Friday, Rs 24 lakh was looted.

According to reports, a group of seven robbers forced their way into the showroom, assaulted the security guards and tied them and escaped with the cash box. Following their escape, the guards managed to free themselves and informed the authorities.
Policemen from Matigara Police Station initiated the preliminary investigation with the aid of CCTV footage which captured visuals of several individuals entering the showroom prior to the robbery.
The guards said four individuals were directly involved, but the police said a total of seven people took part in the heist which was carried out over a span of 20 minutes.
The robbers gained access to the showroom by scaling a wall and escaped via the same route
