YOWAN MOTHAY, EOI, KALIMPONG, MAY 18, 2023 : To ensure the safety and convenience of tourists, Gorkhland Territorial Administration Tourism Department Sabasad Suman Gurung, Kalimpong District Police Station IC Sanjay Ghosh, Rambhi Police Station Incharge Deepak Thapa, tourism officials and members of Teesta River Rafting Welfare Association inspected on Thursday the Teesta River Rafting site.
They took stock of the safety of tourists, facilities, toilets, cleanliness of the area, the way tourists went to the river The quality of the rafts was also checked.
They promised to extend support to put river rafting more firmly in the tourism map of GTA
