Brutal attack on Ladup Ghising
YAWAN GURUNG, EOI, MIRIK, MAY 2, 2023: One person has been arrested for abrutal attack on Hamro Party central spokesperson Ladup Ghising on Sunday. Another person has been named in the FIR. Talking to newspersons, Ladup Ghising said he had been attacked by the two accused with a rod and suspected that the attack could have been politically motivated because of some of his statements in the past against corruption.
Members of the Mirik sub-divisional committee of Hamro Party went to the Mirik Police Station on Tuesday demanding that the accused must be severely punished and justice must be delivered soon. Mirik Sub-Divisional President of Hamro Party Prashant Lama condemned the incident and said criminals had done the act.
