BJP talking in two voices on separate state in Darjeeling, says L. B. Rai

YAWAN GURUNG, EOI, MIRIK, APRIL 25, 2023 : The BJP is known for indulging in two-faced politics and this has become evident in the statement of national vice president of BJP Dilip Ghosh that north Bengal will not be divided, Hill Trinamool Congress Chairman L. B. Rai said in Mirik on Tuesday.
While BJP M. P. John Barla was misleading the people by talking about the division of north Bengal, Dilip Ghosh was saying there would be no division of north Bengal. BJP M.P. from Darjeeling Raju Bista had won the Lok Sabha election by promising to bring Gorkhaland to Darjeeling but now he had forgotten the original issue.
BJP had won three elections from the hills campaigning for Gorkhaland, but in the past 15 years had not moved an inch in that direction.
“The practical work of BJP is zero. That’s why the BJP is certain to lose from the hills in the upcoming elections,” he said.
The BJP was only trying to garner votes by creating disturbances in a peaceful state.
