Oranges on sale on NH 10

YOWAN MOTHAY, EOI, KALIMPONG, MARCH 6, 2023: For the past few years, many people can be seen selling oranges in the NationalHighway-10 area in Kalimpong district. Especially in the 27 Mile area, people of different age groups sell attractive and edible oranges displayed on tables.
Though much of these fruits are sold as Darjeeling orange, some of them are known as Chinese fruit, rich in vitamins and sugar, and cultivated on a large scale in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
Generally, Darjeeling oranges, which have a special taste and sweetness, are harvested in January and unavailable by February.
