Sikkim CM visits Manipur meets Manipur CM, Golay to attend Shandmashik Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya

Nanda Kirati Dewan, KalimNews, Imphal, 9 December 2022: Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) called on Chief Minister of Manipur Shri N Biren Singh at Imphal and discussed issues of mutual interest. 
They also exchanges mementoes and pleasentaries before leaving for closing ceremony of six month long yagya organised by the Gorkha community with support from all Hindu faith population named Shandmashik Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya' at Sontalabari, Manipur. 
CM Golay arrived at Imphal International Airport to attend the historic Shandmashik Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya at Santolabari, Manipur. He was received by Darjeeling MP Raju Bista and the state protocol officers. 
Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by Sikkim Commerce and Industries minister Shri Bedu Singh Panth and Secretary to HCM Dr S.D Dhakal. 
Both the chief ministers discussed measures to improve trade ties between Manipur and Sikkim. 
The chief ministers of Manipur and Sikkim also vowed to make “Northeast the growth engine of the nation”. 
“As Northeast Indian states get closer with enhanced connectivity, we will continue to work together to fulfil Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of making Northeast the growth engine of the Nation,” Manipur CM Biren Singh said after meeting his Sikkim counterpart PS Tamang. 
Meanwhile, both the Chief Ministers also deliberated on a host of key issues including trade and commerce, tourism besides others.
