Fog disrupts flights in Bagdogra, passengers stranded

PRASHANT ACHARYA, EOI, SILIGURI, DECEMBER 27, 2022 : Passengers at Bagdogra airport were stranded on Tuesday after three flights were cancelled while several others were delayed due to extreme fog in the morning.
Flights of Spicejet, Vistara and Indigo were cancelled in the morning due to poor Fog disrupts flights in Bagdogra, passengers stranded visibility while others were delayed.
There are 26 flights that land and take-off at Bagdogr airport daily and around 8,000passengers travel daily from Bagdogra airport. Director, Airport Authority of India Bagdogra Md Ali, said: “Three flights of Vistara, Indigo and Spicejet have been cancelled. The authorities are providing necessary arrangements for passengers.
