Foreign job fraud alert

TT Special Correspondent   |   New Delhi   |    25.09.22 : The external affairs ministry on Saturday issued an advisory warning IT-skilled youngsters of fake job offers in Thailand that land them in Myanmar instead. 

This advisory was issued after 32 Indians were rescued from Myanmar earlier this week.  “…Indian nationals are advised to check/verify credentials of foreign employers through concerned Missions abroad, and antecedents of recruiting agents as well as any company before taking up any job offer,” the ministry said.
