Bengal reports 114 Covid-19 cases and one death
The state’s recovery rate is 98.87 per cent and mortality rate 1.05 per cent
The Telegraph | Calcutta | 10.03.22 : Bengal on Wednesday reported 114 Covid-19 infections, 102 recoveries and one death, resulting in a rise in active cases by 11 to 1,560.
This was the first instance of a rise in the total of active cases after 51 consecutive days of a drop in the number since the onset of the third wave.
The positive confirmation rate or the percentage of samples testing positive was 0.49 per cent on Wednesday. Positive confirmation rate has been below 1 per cent for 20 consecutive days.
The state’s Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.87 per cent and mortality rate 1.05 per cent.
There have been more than 20.16 lakh cases, since the first was detected in the state in March 2020 in Bengal. The total includes over 19.93 lakh recoveries and 21,182 deaths.
