KalimNews, Kalimpong, 28 Aug 2021: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

0 Death:

52 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 52 new cases, 62 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 52 new cases, and till today there are 55,030 confirmed cases of which 53700 have recovered and 516 died while 814 are active cases.

11 in Kalimpong:

11 new cases, 14 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, and till today there are 6,700 confirmed cases of which 6,468 have recovered, 50 died and 182 are active cases.

6 in Alipurduar:

6 new cases, 13 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, and till today there are 15,198 confirmed cases of which 14,938 have recovered and 99 died while 161 are active cases.

19 in Coochbehar: 

19 new cases, 32 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 19 new cases, and till today there are 28,423 confirmed cases of which 27,916 have recovered, 95 died and 412 are active cases.

22 in Jalpaiguri: 

22 new cases, 36 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 22 new cases, and till today there are 40,792 confirmed cases of which 552 died while 39, 778 have recovered and 462 are active cases.

4 in Uttar Dinajpur:

4 new cases, 6 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 4 new cases, and till today, there are 19,599 confirmed cases of which 235 died while 19,286 have recovered 78 are active cases.

16 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

16 new cases, 7 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 16 new cases, and till today there are 17,096 confirmed cases of which 168 died while 16,822 have recovered and 106 are active cases.

7 in Malda:  

7 new cases, 5 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 7 new cases, and till today there are 32,806 confirmed cases of which 32,546 have recovered and 185 died and 75 are active.
