KalimNews, Kalimpong, 8 January 22: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:
1 Death:
Death of 1 in Uttar Dinajpur is recorded during the last 24 hours.
179 in Darjeeling:
During the last 24 hours 179 new cases, 97 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 179 new cases, and till today there are 59,441 confirmed cases of which 58,191 have recovered and 555 died while 695 are active cases.
13 in Kalimpong:
13 new cases, 5 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 13 new cases, and till today there are 7,231 confirmed cases of which 7,134 have recovered, 55 died and 42 are active cases.
24 in Alipurduar:
24 new cases, 8 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 24 new cases, and till today there are 15,878 confirmed cases of which 15,707 have recovered and 102 died while 69 are active cases.
56 in Coochbehar:
56 new cases, 22 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 56 new cases, and till today there are 30,135 confirmed cases of which 29,861 have recovered, 99 died and 175 are active cases.
125 in Jalpaiguri:
125 new cases, 45 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 125 new cases, and till today there are 43,262 confirmed cases of which 595 died while 42,303 have recovered and 364 are active cases.
147 in Uttar Dinajpur:
147 new cases, 33 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 147 new cases, and till today, there are 20,581 confirmed cases of which 242 died while 20,017 have recovered and 322 are active cases.
73 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
73 new cases 26 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 73 new cases, and till today there are 19,001 confirmed cases of which 177 died while 18,610 have recovered and 214 are active cases.
369 in Malda:
369 new cases 100 releases were reported today from Malda. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 369 new cases, and till today there are 35,164 confirmed cases of which 34,075 have recovered and 188 died and 901 are active.
