KalimNews, Kalimpong, 5 January 22: Daily report issued by the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare of the state of West Bengal regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of Darjeeling district including all five districts of north Bengal during the last 24 hours is as follows:

193 in Darjeeling:

During the last 24 hours 193 new cases, 54 releases were reported from Darjeeling. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 193 new cases, and till today there are 58,833 confirmed cases of which 57,929 have recovered and 553 died while 351 are active cases.

3 in Kalimpong:

3 new cases, 5 releases were reported from Kalimpong. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 3 new cases, and till today there are 7,193 confirmed cases of which 7,120 have recovered, 55 died and 18 are active cases.

9 in Alipurduar:

9 new cases, 7 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 9 new cases, and till today there are 15,816 confirmed cases of which 15,685 have recovered and 102 died while 29 are active cases.

12 in Coochbehar: 

12 new cases, 20 releases were reported. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 12 new cases, and till today there are 29,977 confirmed cases of which 29,808 have recovered, 99 died and 70 are active cases.

61 in Jalpaiguri: 

61 new cases, 34 releases were reported from Jalpaiguri. The State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 61 new cases, and till today there are 42,934 confirmed cases of which 592 died while 41,181 have recovered and 161 are active cases.

45 in Uttar Dinajpur:

45 new cases, 13 releases were reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours, Uttar Dinajpur records 45 new cases, and till today, there are 20,262 confirmed cases of which 241 died while 19,939 have recovered and 82 are active cases.

35 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

35 new cases 18 releases were reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur.
